Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi is a distinguished academician, eminent author, and renowned International Trade and Management expert, currently serving as the Director of the Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore. Previously, he held positions as Professor and Dean at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.

Prashant Tiwari is Chief Sustainability Officer at Amara Raja Group. He also holds position of VP – South in United Nations Global Compact Network India.
He is a chemical engineer with post-graduation in Sustainability from Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (erstwhile National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE)).
Before Amara Raja, Prashant was working as Chief HSE and Sustainability at Hindustan Zinc Limited, subsidiary of Vedanta Ltd. He has implemented Sustainability, Asset optimisation and Quality Assurance protocol during his tenure at Vedanta.
He has 19 years of work experience in Sustainability and HSE. His experience in sustainability spans from Metal & mining at Vedanta to FMCG at ‘Hindustan Unilever Limited and Coca-Cola’ to Automobile industry at ‘Tata motors’.
He has been involved in various sustainability initiatives ranging from ESG ratings & sustainability reporting, life cycle assessments, behaviour-based safety implementation and organisation capability building on sustainability & HSE. |

Sangeeta Menon is Regional Publishing Manager at Emerald Publishing, overseeing the publishing program for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, and Bhutan. With an extensive career in academic publishing, including Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and Wiley, Sangeeta brings nearly two decades of valuable experience to her current position.
She is also currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Strategy at the Fortune Institute of International Business. Her PhD aims to combines her scholarly pursuits with her professional expertise.
Drawing from her rich experience in the academic publishing industry and now as a scholar herself, Sangeeta possesses a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by researchers in South Asia when communicating their work globally. Throughout her career, she has been passionately dedicated to supporting researchers and has conducted over 300 publishing sessions and guest talks on research trends in the last 5 years alone, aiming to empower scholars in navigating the complex landscape of academic communication and publishing. |
